High Purity from the Start
Opera was founded on the idea that making a protein should not stretch your budget or slow your research down. We know that making a protein is hard, and purifying it is even harder. So, we modified the most common tool for protein production, a bacterial cell, and made it even simpler to get protein out of.
Our bacteria can secrete proteins out of the cell in a single step to give you a soluble, active protein with starting purities up to 90%.
